Maimonides Children’s Hospital in Brooklyn, N.Y., which is part of Maimonides Health (Brooklyn), has recently increased the capacity of its neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) by adding 17 beds, bringing the total to 48 beds.
As part of the expansion, patient room beds are now equipped with cameras, enabling families to monitor their child through a dedicated app.
