July 2024 Book Recap – The Fitnessista

Hey friends! Hope you had a great weekend! I wanted to share the books I read in July and whether or not I recommend adding them to your collection. I recently returned from a trip to Hawaii, and while there, I had plenty of time to read. One book I read was “Throne of Glass” by Sarah J. Maas, a fantasy novel that follows the journey of Celaena Sardothien, a notorious assassin. While it was highly recommended, it wasn’t my favorite (4/10). I also read “Lady Tan’s Circle of Women” by Lisa See, a captivating historical novel that I highly recommend (10/10). “For the Family’s Sake” by Susan Schaeffer Macaulay delves into creating a nurturing home environment, and while it had some good points, I would give it a 6/10. Lastly, “The Burnout” by Sophie Kinsella was a delightful read that I highly recommend (10/10). What are you reading this month?
