Distinctive Living sub-brand plans cottages
Live Well Senior Cottages, a sub-brand of Distinctive Living, has received state approval to begin construction on two cottage projects in Vineland and Winslow, New Jersey. Managed by Distinctive Living, the projects aim to compete in the middle market senior living space, with construction set to begin this summer.
Florida project aims to meet affordable senior living demand
Sawyer’s Walk, a mixed-use development in Miami, Florida, is set to include the largest affordable senior living community in the U.S. The project, a partnership between SG Holdings, Swerdlow Group, SJM Partners and Alben Duffie, will feature 578 housing units, with construction underway.

Maplewood Senior Living’s Inspir Embassy Row community, located in the Fairfax Hotel in Washington, D.C., will offer luxury senior living with 174 private apartments. Construction is set for completion by December of this year.
Commonwealth Senior Living starts Virginia renovation
Commonwealth Senior Living at Manassas is undergoing a renovation, including the construction of a secure memory care neighborhood, new dining and fitness spaces, along with updates to apartments and public areas. The project is expected to be completed in late summer this year.
Headwaters Group announces groundbreaking in Colorado
Aspendale Centennial, an active adult community in Centennial, Colorado, has broken ground and will offer 172 units designed for residents 60 and older. Construction is expected to be completed by August 2025.

Health Dimensions Group (HDG) has announced the opening of Mira at Maumelle, a new senior living community offering independent living, assisted living, and memory care services to residents.
Cogir Senior Living, Ryan Companies US announce Colorado project opening
The Acoya Cherry Creek senior living community in Denver, Colorado, includes 137 apartments of independent and assisted living units, along with various amenities for residents.
Westmont Living of Carmel Valley, the company’s fifth community in San Diego, California, features 101 apartment units in three different layouts offering independent living, assisted living, and memory care.
Resort Lifestyle Communities has announced the opening of Parkers Bend, a new active adult community in Moorestown, New Jersey, offering 128 apartments with studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom layouts.
