LifeSpire of Virginia has unveiled ambitious expansion plans for The Summit senior living community in Lynchburg, Virginia. The $80 million renovation will introduce new residences and upgraded amenities, including a pocket neighborhood of 18 cottages, new villas with large windows and additional rooms, and a memory care support neighborhood. The project is set to span over the next two years.
Siena Lakes, managed by Erickson Senior Living, is also gearing up for expansion with Belle Isle, a new development featuring 67 apartment homes with modern designs and luxury finishes. Dolce Commons, a new amenity space and restaurant, as well as an expanded continuing care neighborhood, Torre Square, are also part of the project.

Morning Pointe Senior Living has broken ground on The Lantern at Morning Point Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence in East Hamilton, marking the company’s 25th project in Tennessee. The new community is expected to open in early 2025 and will feature 60 apartment units within a 45,000 square-foot memory care community.

National Church Residences has recently opened Brookwood Point, a $27 million community in Columbus, Ohio, offering independent living apartments for adults 55 and up. Architectural services were provided by Berardi Partners and The Jones Studio, with construction led by Elford Inc. Oak Trace Senior Living has also completed a $112 million renovation and expansion project in Downers Grove, Illinois, adding luxury independent living apartments and enhanced shared spaces.
Evergreen Real Estate has announced the completion of Green Oaks of Goshen, a new 120-unit assisted living affordable senior living community in Goshen, Indiana. The community, operated by Gardant Management Solutions, offers amenities such as a fitness center, salon, library, and outdoor features for residents.
New Perspective, a senior living operator in Minnesota, is preparing to open a new community in Weldon Spring, Missouri, offering independent living, assisted living, and memory care services. Residents are expected to move in by mid-summer, with a variety of amenities and services available.
