Say “Hola!” to Senior Planet’s new technology-themed community center for older adults in Miami. Programs kick off on Monday, January 8 at the center in Wynwood.
Senior Planet’s newest walk-in center in Miami, located in the happening neighborhood of Wynwood, is a cool and modern space for older adults to embrace technology, despite the Miami heat.
The center boasts a vibrant outside mural by local artist Rage Johnson, along with state-of-the-art technology, free wi-fi, and various amenities within its 4,300 sq. ft. space, creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for visitors.
Featuring group lectures, technology demonstrations, fitness classes, a lounge area, a free coffee bar, and an outdoor seating area, the center also provides separate private rooms for tele-medicine consultations and intimate groups.
About Senior Planet programs at the center:
- Senior Planet programs are free of charge to all participants over 50 and include lectures, workshops, and multi-week technology courses.
- Weekly multilingual classes in English, Spanish, and Haitian Creole cover topics in technology, health, finance, community, and the arts.
- Additional offerings include 1-1 technology training and tech discussion groups.
