Charco Neurotech, a UK-based medtech company, has developed the CUE1, a non-invasive wearable designed to assist individuals with Parkinson’s disease in managing their motor symptoms. The device, worn on the sternum, provides focused vibratory action to mitigate symptoms, based on the observation that patients experienced relief when traveling over bumpy roads. Using cueing to help prevent freezing episodes, the device aims to offer a drug-free, non-invasive treatment option. Currently available in the UK, there are plans to expand its availability. Watch the video below to learn more about the CUE1 and how it works.
