University Health Palo Alto Hospital Breaks Ground In Texas

University Health (San Antonio) has officially broken ground on a new hospital adjacent to Texas A&M University in Palo Alto, Texas. The five-story acute care hospital, situated on 68 acres, will feature 166 inpatient beds with the potential to expand to 286 beds. The facility will also include a 24/7 emergency department, labor and delivery unit, neonatal intensive care unit, operating rooms, and radiology and lab services. Additionally, plans for an adjoining medical office building (MOB) are in the works.
