Nonprofits HumanGood and Pleasant Spring Communities announced their organizations’ affiliation on February 1st, aiming to enhance operational efficiencies, streamline processes, and introduce innovative programs through additional resources.
President and CEO John Cochrane stated in a press release that the united organizations will continue to support older adults living lives of purpose and meaning.
Transactions
Evans Senior Investments arranged the sale of Country Meadow Place, an assisted living and memory care community in Iowa, for $13 million. The community, with a consistent full occupancy, was sold to an existing operator by ESI operating on behalf of an independent owner.
Acquisitions
United Properties acquires Champlin property
United Properties has acquired Champlin Shores, a senior housing community in Champlin, Minnesota, and plans to rebrand it as Amira Choice Champlin. Operating partner Ebenezer Senior Living will assume service responsibilities, with updates to the facility planned over the next three years.
Primrose Retirement Communities purchased The Addison of Pleasant Prairie, a 100-unit community previously operated by Senior Lifestyle Corporation. President BJ Schaefbauer expressed enthusiasm for the company culture and core values aligning with the Pleasant Prairie market.
