Ochsner Health in New Orleans has announced plans to build The Gayle and Tom Benson Ochsner Children’s Hospital at the Ochsner Medical Center-New Orleans campus, as reported on neworleanssaints.com.
This new facility will span five stories and cover 343,000 square feet, featuring an emergency department, Level IV surgical neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), private patient rooms, and family resource centers.
The hospital project is scheduled to commence construction in mid-2024 and is expected to open in late 2027.
