Moorings Park, in partnership with K2 Developers, acquired a Super 8 hotel in Naples, Florida, and is renovating it to provide immediate housing for workers in an area where rent is high. Meanwhile, Presbyterian Homes and Services has converted a portion of an existing community in Minnesota into workforce housing after identifying a need through an employee survey.
Both companies have seen success with their initiatives and are planning to expand their workforce housing solutions based on the demand.
