Health Innovation Yorkshire & Humber’s Propel@YH Boot Camp has welcomed nine new Nordic SMEs to the UK, bringing innovative HealthTech solutions to the region. The five-day digital health accelerator programme aims to bring the best health innovations from around the world into the UK, with a focus on the Yorkshire and Humber region. Selected innovations for the Boot Camp include tests for monitoring disease activity, clinical evaluation devices, and assessments for ADHD symptoms in children. The SMEs will receive intensive support and masterclass content, along with access to subject matter experts and the wider HealthTech ecosystem in the Yorkshire and Humber region. The program is delivered alongside expert partners providing legal advice, networking opportunities, growth support, and NHS insight and strategy. Dr. Neville Young, Director of Enterprise and Innovation at Health Innovation Yorkshire & Humber, expressed excitement at the opportunity to support international innovators in accessing the UK healthcare market and establishing a base in Yorkshire and the Humber. Participants in the program have also expressed their enthusiasm for the opportunity to learn and expand their presence in the UK healthcare market.
