NHS England’s top figures, Ming Tang and Professor Erika Denton, have been announced as keynote speakers for the AI, Data, and Analytics Stage at Digital Health Rewired 2024 in March.
Ming Tang, NHSE’s chief data and analytics officer, will deliver a keynote address on the progress of the NHS’s Data Saves Lives strategy on day one. His session will include case studies from NHS trusts using the Federated Data Platform to improve analytics and patient care speed.
Joining Tang on stage is Dr. Jessica Morley, a postdoctoral researcher at the Yale Digital Ethics Center, who brings extensive expertise in NHS data, tech, and AI policy and ethical considerations.
Professor Erika Denton, medical director for transformation at NHS England, will lead a panel with NHSE colleagues Vin Diwakar, John Quinn, and Melanie Iles on day two. Additionally, Denton, a radiologist and clinical lead on AI for NHS England, will deliver a keynote session on the latest initiatives to ensure safe introduction and regulation of AI and ML tools within the NHS.
