Herefordshire Mental Health Trust Enhances Systems with Access Rio EPR
Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust, with over 4,500 staff and 100 sites, have selected Access Rio EPR to integrate their separate health systems. The Access Rio EPR, used by over half of UK mental health Trusts, will streamline services by connecting acute, GP, community, and mental health services.
The Trust partnered with Access HSC to implement the electronic patient record, enabling interoperability with existing suppliers. Lisa Yates, Director of Digital at the Trust, expressed excitement for the digital transformation and improved care outcomes.
In addition to the EPR, the Trust is utilizing the mobile solution for clinicians to access information anywhere. The platform provides secure data sharing and integration with various systems and apps for a comprehensive patient care approach.
Steve Wightman, Commercial Director at Access HSC, highlighted the importance of integrating services with Rio EPR for vital information access at the point of care. Similarly, Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust successfully implemented the Access Rio EPR in just eight weeks.
