Sharp Rees-Stealy Otay Ranch Medical Center in San Diego has recently completed the initial phase of an $86 million expansion project. The first phase, which was finished in December 2023, included the construction of a new four-level parking garage capable of accommodating 610 vehicles.
The upcoming phase of the expansion will involve the addition of a two-story medical office building (MOB) featuring an urgent care center, advanced imaging technology, and expanded services.
HGW Architecture, based in San Diego, is responsible for the architectural and interior design aspects of the project, while DPR Construction, also located in San Diego, is serving as the general contractor.
