Epro, a prominent UK healthcare informatics provider, has been selected for the National Framework Agreement for Legacy Information Integration and Management by Commercial Procurement Services. This framework aims to address the challenges faced by trusts in transitioning to electronic patient records systems or switching between EPRs. NHS trusts can now procure Epro’s unified Digital Health Platform, which offers access to essential clinical patient data for various healthcare solutions. With a focus on improving the quality of consultations and decision-making, Epro provides over 30 clinical software applications, interoperability services, and a mobile-first, data-driven environment. The goal is to provide seamless access to clinical patient information at minimal cost to NHS trusts. This alignment with Epro’s mission and expertise has already been demonstrated through their successful support of over 50,000 users across 13 NHS trusts. The new framework agreement, led by the Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust’s Commercial Procurement Services, aims to address accessibility issues related to legacy applications and data within NHS organizations. This will allow trusts to purchase cloud-based or on-site solutions to effectively overcome these challenges.
