The DigitalHealth.London Evidence Generator Bootcamp is now accepting applications for its second cohort. This program is tailored for digital health companies that have recently launched a product in the NHS or are about to do so, and are dedicated to advancing evidence generation.
Generating high-quality evidence is crucial for the success of digital health products in the NHS, as emphasized by NHS England and NICE policies. The Evidence Generator Bootcamp provides expert guidance from NHS, academic, and industry professionals through advisory sessions, workshops, networking opportunities, and facilitation of research collaborations.
Sara Nelson, the programme director of DigitalHealth.London, highlights the importance of having effective evidence for the success of digital health innovations within the healthcare system. The Bootcamp aims to help innovators identify and generate evidence to demonstrate the value of their digital solutions and overcome adoption barriers.
Supported by a funding of £1.39 million from the UK government’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund, the DigitalHealth.London Evidence Generator Bootcamp is part of the Business Support for London Project. Dr. Austen El-Osta from Imperial College London underscores the critical role of evidence generation in the success of start-ups in the digital health sector.
Applications for the programme are now open until 17 March 2024, targeting up to 15 SMEs with innovative products or services addressing NHS and social care challenges and a focus on evidence generation. An upcoming 101 webinar on 12 March will allow interested participants to engage with the programme delivery team.
