This beautiful Christmas Fruit Tray makes a stunning addition to any holiday meal.

Sugared grapes are easy to make and add a gorgeous frosted look to this festive fruit wreath.

Christmas Fruit Tray Wreath

If you are looking for a beautiful and delicious way to wow your guests this holiday season, look no further. This Christmas fruit platter is absolutely gorgeous, simple to make, and deliciously refreshing.

Don’t be intimidated by this one! It looks impressive, but it really is simple to put together. And those sugar grapes? They’re amazing. The simple syrup hardens and adds the perfect little crunch to each grape… I couldn’t stop eating them! This one is truly worth the (rather minimal) effort. Pinky promise.

This fruit arrangement is perfect for a Christmas appetizer or to bring to any holiday party. And it’s a great recipe for the kids to help with too!

Ingredients You’ll Need to Make this Christmas Fruit Tray:

  • Kiwi
  • Apples
  • Raspberries
  • Pomegranate
  • Grapes
  • Sugar
  • Sprigs of Mint

How to Make a Christmas Fruit Wreath:

  1. Make the sugared grapes.
    1. Add 1/4 cup sugar and 1/4 water to a small saucepan.
    2. Cook over medium heat until the sugar is melted and the liquid is clear. This will only take about 3 minutes.
    3. Set aside and let cool to room temperature.
    4. Dip the grapes into the sugar mixture, then set onto a wire rack, making sure they don’t touch. Allow them to sit for about 30 minutes.
    5. Next, roll them in the remaining sugar.
    6. Place in the fridge for 30 minutes before using.
  2. Prepare the rest of the fruit.
    1. Peel the kiwi and cut into 1/4-inch slices.
    2. Deseed the pomegranate.
    3. Cut the apple into thin slices. Use a small star cookie cutter to cut stars out of some of the slices.
    4. Toss the apples with lemon juice to prevent browning, if desired.
  3. Assemble the fruit wreath.
    1. Lay the kiwi down in a circle on a large round plate or serving platter.
    2. Top with apple slices, sugared grapes, remaining kiwi slices, and raspberries building as you go and balancing fruits and colors.
    3. Top with pomegranate arils and garnish with apple stars and mint leaves.
  4. Serve. If desired, serve with a simple yogurt dip. We added mint leaves and pomegranate to resemble a holly berry in the center. Enjoy!

Tips & Suggestions

  • Easy Christmas Fruit Salad – Don’t want to make a wreath? This fruit salad would still look and taste amazing simply piled into a serving bowl!
  • What is the best way to deseed a pomegranate? – Cut the pomegranate in half horizontally. Hold the cut end of the pomegranate over a bowl of water. Using a wooden spoon, give the back of the pomegranate a really good smack. The arils will fall into the water and separate from the white pith.

Easy Fruit Dip

For a simple, delicious fruit dip combine 8 oz softened cream cheese, 8 oz greek yogurt, 1/4 cup brown sugar, and 1 tablespoon vanilla extract in a medium-sized mixing bowl. Use an electric mixer and beat until smooth. Place into a small bowl and serve immediately.

Storing Leftovers

Leftover sugared grapes will last for about three days stored in the refrigerator in an airtight container.

Substitutions or Additions:

  • Strawberries
  • Cherries
  • Pear
  • Pineapple
  • Watermelon
