Chocolate Protein Ice Cream

This dairy-free chocolate protein ice cream recipe is a delicious and healthy dessert made with frozen bananas, cocoa powder, chocolate protein powder, and almond milk. With 15 grams of protein per serving, it’s a satisfying and guilt-free treat.

Ingredients

  • Frozen bananas
  • Cocoa powder
  • Chocolate protein powder
  • Vanilla extract
  • Unsweetened almond milk
  • Rainbow sprinkles

Instructions

Blend frozen bananas, cocoa powder, chocolate protein powder, vanilla extract, and almond milk in a high-speed blender until smooth. Freeze for an hour for scoopable ice cream consistency or enjoy immediately.

How to Serve

Whether you prefer soft serve or traditional ice cream, this chocolate protein ice cream will be a delicious treat. Serve with your favorite ice cream toppings or mix-ins such as chocolate chips, yogurt chips, fresh berries, or coconut flakes.

Variations

  • Add a frozen berry for a fruity twist
  • Use a different flavor protein powder such as vanilla or banana
  • Go all out banana with a banana-flavored protein powder

Storage

Store leftover protein ice cream in the freezer, covered, for up to 3 months in a glass container with a lid.
