Calling all stuffing fans, this Thanksgiving we have a treat that is designed to satisfy both your taste buds and your need for protein – the Quest Apple Pie Brown Butter Cookies! These delectable cookies are made using Quest Cinnamon Brown Butter Protein Cookies & Vanilla Milkshake Protein Powder, taking indulgence and nourishment to a whole new level.

APPLE PIE BROWN BUTTER COOKIES

Yields: 6 servings |  Serving Size: 1/2 cookie

Calories: 180  | Protein: 10g  | Fat: 13g | Net Carb: 3g

Total Carb: 12g   | Sugar: 2g

Ingredients

APPLE PIE BROWN BUTTER COOKIES

Apple Topping:

  • ½ tbsp butter
  • ½ green apple, cubed
  • ⅛ tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch salt

Crumble:

  • 1 tbsp almond flour
  • 1 tsp zero calorie sweetener
  • ½ tbsp butter, melted

Frosting:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F.
  2. Stir together the crumble ingredients until lumps form.
  3. Spread them out on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 5 minutes. Let cool.
  4. Cook the apple in a small saucepan with butter over medium heat. Add the apple pieces, cinnamon, and salt, and cook for 5-6 minutes until the apples are tender. Remove from heat.
  5. In a medium mixing bowl, use a handheld mixer to beat the cream cheese and butter until well blended. Add in the remaining frosting ingredients and mix until combined.
  6. Transfer to a piping bag and top cookies with frosting followed by crumble and apple pieces. Cut cookies into 4 pieces and serve.
