UK-based nurse call solution provider Wandsworth Healthcare has partnered with Scandinavian digital healthcare solutions provider DNV Imatis to enhance the digital patient journey for NHS trusts.
The collaboration, which officially began in June 2024 following extensive discussions, aims to combine Wandsworth Healthcare’s expertise with DNV Imatis’ innovative solutions to address challenges related to low digital maturity and the need for increased operational efficiency within NHS trusts.
DNV Imatis offers healthcare organizations advanced tools for managing patient flows, logistics, and overall operational efficiency through its intelligent platform, Fundamentum.
Adam Sherry, managing director of the Wandsworth Group, expressed optimism about the partnership’s potential, stating, “As NHS trusts face mounting pressure to adopt digital health solutions and demonstrate digital maturity, we believe that this collaboration between two industry leaders will be well-received by trusts across the UK.”
The initial focus of the collaboration will be on four key solutions: electronic bed capacity management system, task management, alarm management, and patient engagement.
DNV Imatis’ CEO, Johan Folkunger, praised the alignment between the two companies, emphasizing their shared commitment to enhancing operational efficiency and patient care in today’s healthcare landscape.
Wandsworth Healthcare is establishing a ‘digital patient journey experience centre’ at its headquarters in Woking, Surrey, to showcase the advanced digital integration capabilities resulting from the collaboration. The centre is set to open in early October and will serve as a venue for NHS trusts to explore end-to-end processes and digital integration features.
DNV Imatis’ digital health solutions are currently utilized by over 46,000 healthcare professionals in 45 hospitals worldwide, including in Europe, Australia, and Canada.
