LCB Senior Living announced its assumption of management at The Reserve at East Longmeadow on April 9. The community offers over 100 residential apartments along with assisted living and memory care services.

Perkins Eastman becomes partner for University Retirement Communities

Perkins Eastman, known for its expertise in architecture, urban design, and interior design, has joined UniversityRetirementCommunities.com as a resource partner as of April 16. This partnership highlights the firms’ experience in senior living and university campus design.

“Resource partners play a crucial role in our goal for UniversityRetirementCommunities.com to be a comprehensive platform for information on such communities, catering to individuals as well as institutions interested in developing or enhancing University Retirement Communities,” stated Andrew Carle, the website’s founder.

Transactions

Blueprint facilitated the sale of an assisted living and memory care community in Wyoming, Michigan for a real estate investment trust on April 4. The community, built in 2015, comprises 102 units.

The seller selected a Virginia-based investor and their Michigan partner, furthering their strategic growth in the state.

Blueprint advises on Tennessee exit strategy

Blueprint was engaged by a national developer and investor to develop an exit strategy in Memphis, Tennessee on April 9. The project focused on maximizing the value of a portfolio of older communities.

A local Memphis investor emerged as the winning bidder, marking their second acquisition in the senior housing sector.

Additional transactions included the sale of Insignia of Newnan in Georgia and a short-term rehab and assisted living community in Houston, Texas.
