In 2023, The Aspenwood Company had a record year for revenue and is now focused on accelerating growth in 2024. With 20 communities under management, including recent additions in Charlotte, NC and the Dallas Metro, Aspenwood is on the rise. President Heather Tussing mentioned the explosive growth in March and the company’s commitment to being the best in luxury senior living markets, particularly in the Southeast region.
Senior Vice President Eric Varin reported a 43% increase in move-in volume in 2024 compared to the previous year, and an 8% increase in occupancy from 2022 to 2023. Last year, Aspenwood exceeded industry averages in inquiry-to-tour and tour-to-move-in percentages.
Preparations for growth in 2023 included internal improvements, new memory care program called Soar, and enhanced life enrichment activities and technology integration. Additionally, the company focused on creating a better work-life balance for staff, resulting in a reduction in turnover.
Looking ahead, Aspenwood plans to continue its explosive growth with further acquisitions and developments. With an active development project in Nashville and potential for more management agreements, the company aims to ensure excellence within its communities and invest in resident safety.
