The Norfolk and Waveney NHS Integrated Care Board (ICB) has announced a tender for a population health management (PHM) digital solution, valued between £1.25 million and £1.42 million.
The tender, released on 30 May, highlights the need for a digital solution to enhance population health and wellbeing outcomes. This solution should be adaptable over time to meet changing requirements and capabilities.
The ICB emphasizes the necessity for bespoke data analysis, technical solutions, and digital platforms to support their strategic interventions and priorities.
It is crucial for the digital solution to be able to categorize population cohorts based on identified priorities, enabling the delivery of interventions at a system-wide level.
The ICB aims to facilitate access to PHM information across all levels of the NHS and wider partners within the Integrated Care System (ICS) for a unified approach to population health.
The contract, spanning five years and commencing on 1 October 2024, is open for applications until 11 July 2024.
In a related development, the Norfolk and Waveney Acute Hospital Collaborative recently selected MEDITECH as the supplier for their new Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system. This initiative is part of the digital roadmap of the Norfolk and Waveney ICS to enhance care through technological investments and digital tools.
