Vi pours millions into renovations across portfolio
Vi is currently undertaking a capital campaign to enhance and renovate multiple communities within its life plan community portfolio.
One of their major projects is at Vi at Bentley Village in Naples, Florida, where over $300 million has been invested since 2014. The community now boasts 64 new independent living apartments with modern fixtures and amenities. Vi also expanded its care capacity in assisted living and skilled nursing, with a total redevelopment cost of $41 million.
By revamping unit layouts in assisted living and memory care spaces, Vi aims to meet changing resident needs and demands. The newly added buildings at Bentley Village offer some of the largest layouts, ranging from 2,400 to 4,500 square feet.
Additionally, Vi has introduced an expanded golf course at Bentley Village and recently completed a $6 million renovation at their CCRC near Chicago in Glenview, Illinois.

Kendal announces grand opening of Enso Village in California
After significant delays, the Enso Village, in partnership with the San Francisco Zen Center, has finally opened in Healdsburg, California, following an eight-year development process.
The community, which reached 80% occupancy before opening, aims to prioritize wellness and resident lifestyle. Kendal’s CEO expressed a belief in partnering with organizations outside of senior living for future growth opportunities.
Enso Village features amenities such as a spiritual center for meditation, a kitchen garden, indoor pool, and a yoga studio, among others. Kendal has also announced Enso Verde, a new Zen-inspired life plan community in Simi Valley, California.
