National Church Residences Expands with New Affordable Community
National Church Residences is set to break ground on a new affordable senior housing community in 2025, following a HUD award. The community, named The Scarborough, will cater to individuals 62 and older and address the pressing need for affordable housing in the area.
In addition to the HUD award, The Scarborough will benefit from a 4% housing tax credit from the Ohio Housing Finance Agency and the City of Columbus. This project is made possible through a partnership with Nix Development Company LLC.
As the largest nonprofit provider of affordable senior housing in the U.S., National Church Residences pledges to continue serving older adults through innovative housing solutions.

New Perspective is nearing completion of a new senior living community in Weldon Spring, Missouri. The community will offer independent living, assisted living, and memory care, along with a range of amenities to promote wellness and vitality.
With a strong presence in seven states, New Perspective is dedicated to providing exceptional senior living experiences for residents.
Brinkmann Constructors Begins Construction on Avery Point Addition
Brinkmann Constructors, in collaboration with Erickson Senior Living, has commenced construction on a residential building at Avery Point in Richmond, Virginia. The addition will feature 109 units across 158,000 square feet, enhancing the community’s residential offerings.
Expected to be completed by the second half of 2025, this project underscores Brinkmann Constructors’ commitment to creating sustainable and thriving senior living environments.
