Galerie Living nets approval for Maryland community
Galerie Living, in partnership with Community Three of Washington DC, has received approval from a local planning board for the development of a senior living community at the National 4-H Center in Chevy Chase, Maryland. The community, known as Corso Chevy Chase, is set to include 287 IL units, 190 AL units, and 30 memory care beds, as well as a 5,000 square-foot retail space. Construction is expected to be completed in 2026, with the first phase beginning this fall.
LifeSpire of Virginia plans $18M expansion
The Glebe Senior Living Community in Daleville, Virginia, part of LifeSpire of Virginia, is undergoing an $18 million renovation and expansion project. This includes new IL homes, 22 IL cottage units, and upgraded amenities such as culinary stations with updated dining options. Construction is set to begin later this year with a targeted completion in 2025.
Legacy Senior Communities to expand community
The Legacy Willow Bend, the flagship community of nonprofit senior living provider The Legacy Senior Communities, will be adding 30 mid-size IL units to meet the Dallas-Fort Worth area’s demand. The expansion will include new luxury apartments and villas and is slated to begin construction in the first quarter of 2025.

Cornerstone at Branchburg fully leased
The sustainably designed, affordable housing apartments in Branchburg, New Jersey, owned by Walters, are now fully leased. The 55+ community includes 150 residences and recently received several industry awards. Amenities include a fitness center, computer workstations, pool table, and outdoor grilling area.
Evergreen Real Estate Group completes affordable project
Evergreen completes renovation of vacant Walgreens
Evergreen Real Estate Group recently completed the Bellwood Senior Apartments, an 80-unit community that replaced a vacant Walgreens in Bellwood, Illinois.
The Delaney at The Vale is now open, according to a news release from LCS. The 62-and-up community in Woburn, Massachusetts, offers various amenities such as concierge services, gourmet meal options, fitness center, wellness center, salons, craft studio, and more.
