Introducing the NextGen CCIO and CIO Bursary Programme
Enhancing the landscape of UK digital health and care, Digital Health has unveiled the NextGen CCIO and CIO Bursary Programme in anticipation of the upcoming Digital Health Summer Schools. Sponsored by Salesforce, this groundbreaking initiative aims to identify, promote, and support emerging digital leaders aspiring to excel in CIO roles within the sector.
The programme is set to facilitate cross-disciplinary collaboration and knowledge exchange among future digital leaders, fostering innovation and promoting the sharing of best practices. The bursary programme will provide ten aspiring chief clinical information officers (CCIO) and ten aspiring chief information officers (CIO), who are members of the Digital Health Networks, with the opportunity to attend Summer Schools 2024 in Durham on 18-19 July.
Participants of the bursary programme will benefit from:
- Exclusive two-day access to keynotes, presentations, breakout sessions, and networking opportunities at Summer Schools
- On-site accommodation, meals, and refreshments
- Access to evening social events
- CPD certificate of attendance
To be eligible for the bursary, applicants must:
- Be emerging digital leaders looking to grow in CCIO and CIO roles
- Reside in the UK
- Be members of the Digital Health Networks
- Currently work in digital health and social care or use technology in their daily health and social care-related activities
- Demonstrate progress towards the role of CCIO, CIO, or equivalent
- Not have previously received a bursary to attend Summer Schools
- Preferably have not attended Summer Schools before
