By leveraging senior living sales leadership and emphasizing dining and lifestyle offerings, Beztak is positioning itself for future growth as it continues to recover occupancy. According to Senior Living Executive Vice President Jason Kohler, the Farmington Hills, Michigan-based company manages nine communities under the luxury independent living All Seasons and market-rate senior living Monark Grove brands.
In an upcoming expansion plan for 2024, Beztak is set to grow multiple All Seasons communities, including a 24-unit addition to its urban luxury community in Birmingham, Michigan, as well as an 80-unit expansion in Ann Arbor. Kohler stated that aside from organic growth, the company is specifically focused on occupancy development and expense control to drive success.
With a nearly 20% increase in rental income compared to the previous year, Beztak plans to start construction on a new community in Florida while also renovating existing properties. To set the All Seasons brand apart in the market, Beztak places a strong emphasis on dining, lifestyle, and programming, recently hiring a corporate director of intellectual and artistic planning to enhance resident experiences.
Kohler highlighted Beztak’s efforts to build empathy among sales team members and utilize behavioral insights from Real Strengths personality tests to tailor training. By understanding selling styles and communication preferences, the sales team can better connect with potential residents.
Looking ahead, Beztak aims to enhance its existing communities rather than expanding outward, focusing on maximizing assets and strengthening market positions. The company remains optimistic about industry trends and is committed to providing exceptional dining experiences and innovative programming through the All Seasons brand. With a dedication to luxury and upscale living, Beztak is continuously striving to exceed resident expectations and maintain industry leadership.
