Bassett Healthcare Network, located in Cooperstown, N.Y., has unveiled a new hybrid cardiac operating room (OR) at Bassett Medical Center. This expansion aims to provide rapid care for patients with cardiac emergencies and includes a full cardiac catheterization lab within the 1,000-square-foot space. Additionally, the facility will offer transcarotid artery revascularization, a minimally invasive procedure for clearing blockages and opening narrowed carotid arteries. These advancements signify Bassett Healthcare Network’s commitment to enhancing cardiac care for patients in the Cooperstown area.
