Abe’s Garden, a memory care operator, is making strides in its expansion project to increase housing capacity and dementia care research. The fundraising campaign, “Let’s Grow Together,” has raised $16.5 million of its $20 million goal as of Sept. 20. With construction already underway for the 38,000 square foot expansion, which will include new assisted living and memory care suites, Abe’s Garden is on track to open by the end of 2025. The expansion will also introduce new engagement spaces like a community room, fitness center, and a music theory and research lab to study the impact of music on health outcomes. Through evidence-based practices developed by the Hearthstone Institute, Abe’s Garden aims to create a vibrant and supportive community for residents with dementia.
