A Place for Mom has announced a significant leadership change as CEO Larry Kutscher steps back from his role, with President Tatyana Zlotsky stepping in to take over as the company’s top leader. Kutscher will transition to the role of chairman of the board of directors, effective May 2. This transition is part of a planned succession process aimed at continuing the company’s growth and success.
Kutscher expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to lead A Place for Mom over the past five years, highlighting the strong revenue growth and the exceptional team assembled during his tenure. He expressed confidence in Zlotsky’s leadership abilities, stating that she is the right leader for the company’s next phase of growth.
Zlotsky, who joined the company in 2019 as chief marketing officer and most recently served as president and chief revenue officer, has played a key role in enhancing the company’s focus on customer needs and expanding its home care business.
In her new role as CEO, Zlotsky aims to continue supporting the millions of family caregivers across the U.S. by providing personalized guidance and senior care solutions. She expressed gratitude for the opportunity to lead the company and looks forward to working with the talented team at A Place for Mom.
Prior to joining A Place for Mom, Zlotsky gained valuable experience during her nine-year tenure at American Express. These leadership changes come at a time of strategic evolution for the company, which recently made investments in its offerings and implemented changes to better serve its community customers.
