Digital Health CEO Jon Hoeksma named ‘Ally of the Year’ at the National B.A.M.E Health & Care Awards 2024
The prestigious award ceremony took place in London at the Royal Institute of British Architects, recognizing talent and innovation within black, Asian, and ethnic minority communities in the health and care sector.
Jon Hoeksma was honored for his vocal condemnation of racist and misogynistic remarks within the industry, as well as his support for initiatives such as the Shuri Network and the Equity Charter.
In his acceptance speech, Hoeksma reiterated the importance of inclusivity and diversity in the digital health space, emphasizing the need to combat discrimination of any form.
Digital Health’s commitment to fostering equality and standing against racism is further demonstrated through their active participation in the Equity Charter.
