Element Care appoints CEO
Element Care, a Program for All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) under Commonwealth Care Alliance, has announced the appointment of Douglas Thompson as its CEO.
Thompson brings a wealth of healthcare experience to this role, having previously been the CEO and founder of Perfect Health, Inc., as well as serving in leadership positions at Medicaid programs and managed care organizations.
Kare announces new vice chairman
Kare has named Robb Chapin as its new vice chairman. With extensive experience in senior housing, Chapin’s most recent roles include CEO of Bridge Seniors Housing Fund Manager and Bridge Senior Living.
Chapin praised Kare’s impact on the industry and aims to showcase the value of partnering with the organization to his peers.
The Abbey at Westminster Plaza welcomed Maria Alvarado as its new executive director on September 3rd. Alvarado, with a background in senior housing and marketing, will oversee the community’s daily operations.

Chloe Taylor has been appointed as the director of dining services at Windsor Run, an Erickson Senior Living community. With over 16 years of dining experience, Taylor will oversee dining venues, catering, and delivery services for residents.
Lastly, The Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence, Franklin, has appointed Jennifer Spears as its executive director. Spears, with a background in senior living, will oversee daily operations at the community.
