Head and neck cancer is cancer that can develop in various areas of the head or neck region. It is the 7th most common cancer worldwide, affecting both men and women. Common symptoms include pain, masses in the mouth or throat, and neck masses. Depending on the location of the cancer, specific symptoms may include patches in the mouth, persistent sores, difficulty swallowing, nasal symptoms, and more.
