POM Health, a fertility startup, has been chosen as one of the 11 startups to participate in the UK government’s ChipStart incubator programme.
This group will be the second to go through the programme, which started in October 2023 with £1.3 million in funding to boost semiconductor technology in the UK.
Each startup will have access to design tools, prototyping capabilities, funding opportunities, and mentorship from industry experts through the programme.
Among the participants in the latest ChipStart cohort is POM Health, which is working on a wearable patch for continuous hormone monitoring to enhance fertility treatments and provide insights into hormonal health for women.
CEO and cofounder Majo Argote expressed excitement for the programme and its potential benefits for their health tech work.
