With the new hospital set to be completed by March 2025, Adrian Rath, CTO at CHI, emphasized the importance of efficient system connectivity. He praised HealthShare Health Connect’s user-friendly interface that streamlines interface creation without extensive coding requirements.
InterSystems UK&I Country Manager Colin Henderson highlighted the platform’s ability to create a fully connected healthcare environment, promoting clear communication and enhancing patient safety through real-time information.
As the clinical and operational transformation leader in Irish pediatric healthcare, CHI is spearheading digital advancements at the new hospital, including electronic health records and automated pharmacy dispensing. The partnership with InterSystems further bolsters the facility’s digital capabilities, with future plans for automated processes and robots handling supply movement.
Last month, Ascom secured a tender for its alert and notification system at the hospital, adding to the ongoing digital enhancements. Stay tuned for the transformation of patient care and operational workflows at CHI’s new Dublin hospital.
