Brightview Senior Living Spins Up New $200M Fund, Continuing Development Push

Brightview Senior Living recently opened its 47th community, Brightview Hunt Valley, in Baltimore County, Maryland. The community offers independent living, assisted living, and memory care with various amenities such as a juice bar, private dining options, fitness rooms, and two pubs. Additionally, there are outdoor courtyards, a rooftop deck for events, and a dementia wing under Wellspring Village. The company is now focusing on launching its ninth fund, Fund IX, with a target of over $200 million to fuel its growth strategy of opening up to four communities a year. Despite challenges like higher expenses, Brightview remains committed to its development pipeline for the next five-plus years.
