Queen Victoria Hospital NHS Foundation Trust has recently awarded a substantial £10 million contract for its electronic patient record system to Insight Direct, who will be subcontracting services to Altera Digital Health.
The contract is slated to last for an initial five-year period, running until March 2029 with an estimated value of £10,631,245. There is also potential for the contract to be extended for an additional two years, allowing for a maximum length of seven years and an overall estimated value of £12,158,471.
This award was facilitated through the NHS LPP Clinical Digital Solutions Framework Agreement.

Altera Digital Health, on the other hand, specializes in support services for various solutions such as EPR, clinical performance management, and patient flow. Their recent rollout of the Sunrise EPR solution across the hospitals of Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust in March 2023 has been a significant step towards accelerating digital maturity.
Queen Victoria Hospital, known for its expertise in reconstructive surgery and rehabilitation for patients with disfigurements or injuries, is the beneficiary of this substantial contract.
