The Aspenwood Company recently announced the successful acquisition of four retirement communities in North Texas operating under The Village on the Park brand. These communities, located in Plano, Denton, and McKinney, Texas, offer a total of 336 units.

In another strategic move, The Aspenwood Company expanded its portfolio by adding two communities in Houston and Dallas. The Doliver of Tanglewood in Houston and Heartis Mid Cities in the Dallas metropolitan area are now under the management of The Aspenwood Company.

United Church Homes Management expands Columbus footprint
United Church Homes Management has expanded its presence in Columbus, Ohio, by partnering with two additional senior living communities – Bexley Heritage Apartments and Village Shalom Apartments. Senior Living Investment Brokerage facilitated the sale of a 237-bed portfolio containing an assisted living and a skilled nursing community in southeast Texas. The seller, a non-profit Catholic hospital system, decided to sell its only skilled nursing/seniors housing communities to a buyer who owns several skilled nursing facilities in Texas.
