Construction is planned for Morning Pointe Senior Living’s new Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence, The Lantern at Morning Pointe. Anticipated to open in early 2025, this will be Morning Pointe’s 41st community and the 25th in Tennessee. The single-level memory care community will feature 60 apartment units, creating 60 new permanent healthcare positions and an estimated $25 million economic impact annually.
In Fairfax County, $9.7 million has been approved for the construction of Kindred Crossing, an affordable senior living community in Falls Church, Virginia. Developed by Wesley Housing, this community will offer 95 affordable independent living homes for individuals aged 62 and older.
In completed construction news, Friendship Village Tempe’s renovation is now finished, offering new IL apartments, guest suites, and underground parking. The Virginian in Fairfax, Virginia also completed a $67 million renovation project, providing high-end amenities and a concierge level with unit layouts ranging from one to three bedrooms.
Furthermore, Solinity’s Eben Silver Town, the first senior living community tailored to Korean American older adults, has opened in the Atlanta area. Additionally, Clearwater Living has unveiled Clearwater Newport, a new luxury assisted living and memory support community in Newport Beach, California.
