Peanut Butter Chex Bars – Fit Foodie Finds

Peanut Butter Chex Bars

These easy-bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Chex Bars are the perfect treat for meal prep or as a make-ahead snack for any occasion! Using ingredients like Chex cereal, pretzel bits, creamy peanut butter, and melted chocolate, these crunchy bars are sure to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Remember those Kellogg cereal bars from your childhood? These Chex bars are a grown-up, chocolate-y version that will bring back all the nostalgia. The added crunch of pretzels on top takes these bars to the next level!

We’ve made sure to always have a batch of these bars in the studio freezer ever since we tested this recipe. They pair perfectly with afternoon coffee!

To make these Peanut Butter Chex Bars, start by preparing a cinnamon-honey peanut butter mixture over the stove. Mix in the Chex cereal and press it into a baking pan. Top with melted chocolate and pretzel pieces before chilling in the fridge for a couple of hours. YUM!

Ingredients:

  • All-natural drippy peanut butter
  • Honey
  • Coconut oil
  • Cinnamon
  • Rice Chex
  • Semisweet chocolate chips
  • Pretzel pieces

Tips and Tricks:

  • If the peanut butter mixture is too thick, add another tablespoon of coconut oil.
  • Press the mixture firmly into the pan to ensure the Chex sticks together.
  • Allow the bars to set in the fridge or freezer before serving.

Make these bars your own by swapping ingredients or adding toppings like different types of Chex or chocolate chips. Get creative and enjoy!

Storage: Store the bars in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Thaw in the fridge before serving.
