Despite being provided with two square meals of nutritious kibble a day and an array of specialty treats, my dog seems to have a penchant for picking up loose trash on our walks. It’s a constant battle to remove choking hazards from his mouth, ranging from chicken bones to frozen bread and even a rotting raw chicken thigh. The recent snow has made it even more challenging to discern whether he’s digging for trash or sniffing something mysterious. Despite his trash-collecting habit, I adore my 10/10 dog, although his second vice of gnawing on our couch is also a concern.
