After my marriage ended, I quickly realized that dinner discussions with kids can be challenging. Often met with monosyllabic responses, I decided to teach Toby and Anton the importance of engaging in conversation during meals. I suggested we take turns asking questions and listening attentively to each other’s answers. The result? Our dinners became more lively and enjoyable as we shared stories about movies, music, and even met famous people. Encouraging conversation has truly transformed our family dinners.
