Matthew Hudson, a Don’t Walk Past volunteer, along with other volunteers, were distributing hot meals to the local homeless population. This organization consistently supports the homeless several times a week. However, on a particular Tuesday, Hudson noticed the elderly woman and sat beside her, offering assistance as she struggled to engage in conversation. The woman’s origin and how she became homeless remain a mystery, leaving many concerned for her well-being as the nights grow colder.

Despite the confusion of the elderly homeless woman, volunteers like Lauren Jones have offered assistance, emphasizing the woman’s autonomy in accepting help. Concerned for her safety, the volunteers took to social media to raise awareness, leading to an outpouring of support from the community.

Relocating The Elderly Homeless Woman

The community’s efforts to locate and support the elderly homeless woman intensified, with the council joining the search to provide accommodation and assistance. Eventually, the woman was found and relocated from Piccadilly Gardens to a hotel room for temporary respite.
