
From September 22 to 29, Climate Week NYC will unite global climate leaders to drive action toward a sustainable future. Now in its 16th year, this event brings together stakeholders from various sectors to showcase innovative solutions and discuss pressing climate issues.
As the official university partner for Climate Week NYC, the Columbia Climate School is thrilled to host a series of events on campus during the week.

- September 21: Food for Humanity: Unlocking the Potential of Universities to End Hunger and Malnutrition – A program focusing on addressing global hunger and malnutrition through university collaboration.
- September 22 and 23: Climate Justice Summit: People Deliver – A summit aiming at global collaboration to advance climate justice funding, sustainable cities, and reparative justice.
- September 24: Rethinking Water 2024: Stakeholder Perspectives for Action – An event bringing together leaders to find solutions for pressing water challenges.
- September 25: Columbia Climate School Showcase 2024 – Featuring experts discussing advancements in climate science, finance, and sustainability.
- September 26: Forward Food and Fashion – An interactive event exchanging insights on sustainability in the food and fashion sectors.
- September 27: Renewing Fashion: Clean Energy and Circular Economy – A panel discussing fashion’s transition to clean energy and circular economy.
