Emine Taha, a senior at Columbia majoring in sustainable development with an economics concentration, is actively involved in impact investing and socially responsible investing. Beyond academics, Taha enjoys pottery and open-water swimming, and will be attempting the Bosphorus Cross-Continental Swim this year.

What led you to choose the sustainable development major?
