p;book on high functioning codependency? But because I see that every single one of my clients, like I don’t care if they’re 35 living with their two little kids and their husband, or if they’re single and highly capable and making six figures a year, you know, powerfully in the financial district of New York city. I’m like, these women have the same issue. They have our money. And they’re like me putting their well-being at the bottom of the totem pole. Creating situations where they feel resentful, where they feel unappreciated, where they feel undervalued, but not realizing that they are in control, right? So with codependency, we’re so focused on taking care of others, anticipating their needs, fixing their problems, that we neglect ourselves in the process. And that’s really why it’s such a toxic cycle to be stuck in is because it leads to resentment, it leads to burnout, it leads to feelings of being overwhelmed and undervalued. And it impacts our health and our relationships in a negative way. So addressing codependency and setting better boundaries is really essential for improving our overall well-being. And that’s what my book, “Too Much: A Guide to Breaking the Cycle of High Functioning Codependency” is all about. It’s about helping women recognize these patterns in themselves and learn how to break free from them in order to lead healthier, happier lives. And I think that’s something that every woman can benefit from understanding and addressing in their own lives. And that’s really what I’m passionate about helping women do. So I’m just really excited to share this information with your audience and hopefully help them on their own journeys towards greater well-being and self-care. Ruth: That’s amazing. Thank you so much for sharing that. I think it’s so important and so valuable for all of us to really take a look at our own behaviors and see how we may be falling into these patterns without even realizing it. And I appreciate what you’re doing to help women break free from that. Terri: Thank you, Ruth. It’s my pleasure. I appreciate the opportunity to share this important information and to hopefully make a positive impact on the lives of others. So thank you for having me on the show. Ruth: Of course. Thank you so much for being here. We will link to your book and all of your resources in the show notes so that our listeners can check them out. And I encourage everyone to learn more about high functioning codependency and how setting better boundaries can lead to greater health and happiness. Thank you again, Terri, for joining us. Terri: Thank you, Ruth. I appreciate it.
