Hey there friends! Hope you’re all doing well on this lovely Monday morning. Today, I wanted to chat about some of our absolute favorite dining spots in Waikiki and what makes them so special to us. We recently had the pleasure of revisiting Waikiki, and it was such a delight to explore both old favorites and new hidden gems. Let’s dive into our top picks!
First up, let’s talk about Poke Fix – hands down the best poke bowl joint in Waikiki. Their fresh, marinated selections are truly a work of art and a must-try for any poke lover. Moving on to ALO Cafe, where everything is made fresh in-house, including their mouthwatering peanut butter. Their acai bowls strike the perfect balance of sweetness and texture, making them a go-to choice for a refreshing treat.
Looking for a date night or a fancier dinner spot? A House Without a Key is the place to be. With its vibrant ambiance and breathtaking ocean views, this restaurant is a favorite of ours and ranks high on our all-time best dining experiences list. For a family-friendly meal, you can’t go wrong with Tommy Bahama or Duke’s. Tommy Bahama’s locally sourced ingredients and flavorful dishes never fail to impress, while Duke’s offers a laid-back beachside vibe and a scrumptious salad bar.
In need of a quick bite or a hearty breakfast? Duke’s Market has got you covered with their delicious malasadas, fried rice bowls, and more. And if you’re craving some healthy casual fare, Nalu is the perfect spot to indulge in fresh salads, wraps, and acai bowls. Don’t forget to save room for dessert – their gluten-free options are a definite crowd-pleaser!
For the best udon noodles in town, look no further than Marukame Udon. This popular spot is always bustling, so be sure to order online for a quick pickup experience. And last but not least, don’t miss out on the gluten-free mochi butter cake on the beach – a surprising highlight of our trip that we couldn’t get enough of.
As I wrap up this post, my stomach is grumbling just thinking about all the delicious food we enjoyed in Waikiki. What are your favorite foodie destinations? Any hidden gems you’d like to share? Personally, Greece has stolen my heart as a top foodie spot right now. Until next time, happy eating! xoxo Gina.
