The energy market is moving towards renewable sources from natural gas, with the heat sector playing a significant role in global energy demand. Recent events, including the conflict in Ukraine, have accelerated the transition away from fossil fuels.
TIGI has acquired SOLID, an Austrian company specializing in large-scale solar thermal heating systems. With over 250 systems in 30 countries, TIGI and SOLID cater to various industries and geographies. The partnership with Eren, a renewable energy pioneer in Europe, creates a global alliance focusing on technology, execution, and financial strength.
Yonatan Shek, Managing Director of Eren Groupe, stated, “We are excited to collaborate with TIGI to establish a renewable heat project platform. We see vast potential in large-scale renewable thermal energy, and our combined expertise will drive the energy transition and decarbonization.”
Zvika Klier, CEO of TIGI, added, “This partnership with Eren marks an important milestone for TIGI. By joining forces, we aim to offer comprehensive renewable heat solutions globally and make a significant impact on the transition to clean energy.”
Earlier this year, TIGI acquired SOLID, positioning the company as a key player in the international renewable heat sector. The strategic consolidation combines technology and experience to enter new markets and lead in renewable heat solutions.
“The acquisition of SOLID enables us to implement renewable energy-based heat projects globally,” said Zvika Klier. “We are committed to expanding our reach in the Heat-as-a-Service model and meeting the evolving demands of the renewable heat market.”
