I’ve been conducting an informal egg sandwich taste test around our neighborhood, and the best yet is from D’Amico in Cobble Hill.
Have you listened to Lemme Say This, the new podcast from culture writers Hunter Harris and Peyton Dix? “Sometimes yapping pays off,” said Peyton. A reader of Hunter’s newsletter wrote, “If @hunterh has 100 fans, I am one of them. If she has 12 fan, it is me. If she has 0 fans, I am dead, etc.” And in the first episode, Peyton makes even strep throat funny: “The worst they’ve seen, is what my nurse said to me, and I said, okay, iconic, not me making history… I’m going toe-to-toe with a three-year-old, and I’m winning unfortunately.” Gahh, love this next gen of ladies who are crushing it in every way.

Have you heard any pretty songs lately? I’ve been playing these three: Hallelujah (HAIM), Big Blue (Vampire Weekend), Can’t Help Falling in Love (Beck).
Anton got a phone this week (for a few reasons, omg I have such a love/hate relationship with phones), but the major silver lining is the texting. Boys, they can break your freaking heart.
